Crunch Time!

We're almost at the en- We are at the end of the semester! It's time to go 10x harder to end the semester with all A's. This week, I will prepare for my AP US History exam, which happens to fall on my birthday. I believe I am ready. Today the weather was switching more than we switch classes! One minute it was storming, then the sun came out. Then it started raining again, and the sun came out after that too. Georgia need to fix their weather!

Almost that time...

It is almost that time! The AP exam is near! I am somewhat nervous and looking forward to it. I just need a little more practice on my rhetorical analysis. Today was chill and tiring. I'm excited for the weekend because my birthday is next week! When I get my performance results back, I'm going to try and improve my writing.

Mock Exam

Yesterday we took the mock exam. At first, I didn't want to do it because I didn't think I needed to, but as I was taking it, my mind changed. I needed to take it to see how it would feel to take the real exam. Although I didn't get to finish one of my three essays, I believe I am better prepared to take the real-deal. I didn't think I would do well, but I exceeded my expectations!

TGI-Figurative

Today started off very drowsy. I almost fell asleep in all of my classes. I forgot we had to do our Rhetorical Analysis essay today, so it was a bit of a schock. Fortunately, Mr.Rease said I did well, which was good. I just need to work on a few things. This week has been draining, and working the whole weekend is not going to make it any better.

Meatless-Monday

Today we did our first in-class full synthesis essay. I thought it was going to be challenging, but it turned out to go well. I started off my planning with an old-fashioned bubble map. I was shocked that I was able to finish before time was up. I believe that I am ready for the AP exam. The topic was really interesting, causing me to go home and do my own research. Hopefully we could lower our mear-consumptions.

I Had A Dream..

I had a dream that by the time the AP exam comes, I would not be prepared. I doubted myself and didn't think I would pass. After today's class, I have a new attitude. Going through the notes, I learned what a Rhetorical Analysis is and what to look for. Today was chill, I was just tired per usual.

Should single-aged kids be exposed to sex education that early?

There is a lot of controversy surround when sex education should be taught. I believe that high school is too late, and elementary is too early. Middle School seems like the perfect meet in the middle; preferrably sixth or seventh grade. In my group, we discussed that the more mature kids are, the more they retain the information. This was one of my subtopics from my main topic on if sex education should be taught more in schools.
